Maoz | Vegetarian Delight!

While most people who know me know that I don't really consider a meal a meal unless chicken is involved, I have to say that vegetarian Maoz was a welcome surprise. Philadelphia is the flagship US location of this international vegetarian fast food chain. Maoz started in Amsterdam, and has the feel of the walk-in style restaurants there, complete with excellent fries. The menu is quite simple, besides the fries there are only two options: Falafel or salad. You get a fresh pita stuffed with a generous number of falafel balls and then you help yourself to a well stocked salad bar that includes mediterranean favorites. I wish they were located closer to Penn so I could eat there more often! Map it!
