Nifty Fifty's | You Want a Shake with That?

Sure, it may look a little gaudy with all of the neon signs, but if you’re looking for great diner food in the northeast look no further than Nifty Fifty's. The highlight of every meal for me is the milkshake. With about 60 options to choose from, you can’t go wrong. The shakes are made with homemade ice cream and are delicious. Some of my favorites are Strawberry Banana Split, Mint Oreos & Cream, and the classic Black & White. The double bacon cheeseburger and golden fried chicken cutlet are very good. All of the beef is ground on premises, the chicken is also butchered there (while waiting in line you can watch the prep cooks working in a giant walk-in fridge preparing the chicken) and so is very fresh. The specials tend to be quite good, so always check the whiteboards. The double pepperjack burger and the bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak are excellent recurring specials. All in all, it’s a great dining experience, fun for the whole family. The portions are generous, a shake and a double cheeseburger will certainly fill you up! Map it!
